Recently we had posted article about vintage Pepsi Cola advertising. Most of us are well aware about the Cola War. So we thought it would be a great idea to share some of vintage Coca Cola ads also.
Coca Cola is one of the longest surviving and well-loved brands in history. It is also among the most successful companies. The strong advertising and marketing is one of key reason behind these. The constant advertising efforts to market and promote their brands have helped them to be on top of the game. Coca Cola advertising has significantly affected American Culture and it is frequently credited with inventing the modern image of Santa Claus as an old man in a red-and-white suit. Coca Cola’s first advertisement appeared in 1895 featuring the young Bostonian actress Hilda Clark.
Historically seeing the Coca Cola advertising has focused on wholesomeness and nostalgia for childhood and is often characterized as “family friendly” and often relies on cute characters (the Coca Cola Polar Bear and Santa Claus around Christmas). Here is a collection of 50 Coca Cola advertising from early 1900s to 1980s. We will love to hear your comments in our comments section. Enjoy!!
